This service marks the end of summer, when friends and members return from their summer travels. It includes the Mingling of the Waters ritual, also called Water Ceremony or Water Communion, a UU way to witness both to the elements and to the spiritual quality of life. Please bring water from a special place, in your travels or nearby, to symbolically join with others of our Fellowship and our previous water ceremonies. A pitcher of water will also be available to symbolically share. Visitors are welcome to the service, and after the service, please join us downstairs for coffee, snacks and conversation.

At MTVUUF we value each individual’s spiritual journey, and believe there is no one right way to lead a religious and spiritual life.  We welcome all who find in these friendships strength and encouragement for daily living.
