May 2025 Sunday Services

On May 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. The Program Committee will lead this in-person service on the theme of “Community.”. Please join us after the service for coffee and conversation.

Sunday May 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.  Theresa Rowe  will lead this in-person service for Mother’s Day ,and invites everyone to share a funny or poignant story about your mother or mother figure or aunt or neighbor who was special in your life.  MTVUUF is lay led, so every week is different.  Please join us downstairs after the service for coffee, snacks, and conversation.

On Sunday May 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., a leader is needed for this in-person Open Reading service. You are invited to bring poems, short articles, or music to share with the congregation. Open readings can be some of our most meaningful services, reflecting the diversity of our Fellowship. The Annual Congregational Meeting follows the service. Please join us for coffee, snacks and conversation after the meeting.

On Sunday May 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Susan Trotter will lead this Open Reading Service on Zoom. You are invited to share readings, thoughts and experiences on topics of interest to UUs or related to the UU principles or  new UU Shared Beliefs and Values. Open readings can be some of our most meaningful services, reflecting the diversity of our Fellowship. Visitors are welcome. For Zoom information please email information@mtvernonuuf.org . April 2025 Sunday Services

On Sunday April 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Nathan Blasdel will lead this in-person service.  Please join us after the service for coffee and conversation.

Sunday April 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Gail DeVilbiss will lead this in-person nature-based service. Please join us downstairs after the service for coffee, snacks, and conversation.

On Sunday April 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Diane Schwitz will lead this in-person Easter service, on the theme “He is Risen.”    Please join us for coffee, snacks and conversation after the service. The Board Meeting follows the social hour.
