July 2026 Sunday Services

Sunday July 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Nathan Blasdel will present this in-person service connected with the history of Unitarian Universalists in America. Visitors are welcome. Please join us for coffee, snacks and conversation downstairs following the service.

Sunday July 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Larry Sidwell will lead this in-person service, continuing a series that looks at 19th Century Concord Massachusetts. The resident whom he will explore this week is Nathanial Hawthorne. Larry will specifically examine Hawthorne’s struggles with his Puritan heritage and how it manifested itself in his novels and short stories. Visitors are welcome to the service, and after the service, please join us downstairs for coffee, snacks and conversation.

Sunday July 19, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Diane Schwitz will lead this in-person Open Readings service. You are invited to share readings, poems, brief articles and music about topics of interest to UUs. At MTVUUF we value each individual’s spiritual journey, and believe there is no one right way to lead a religious and spiritual life.  We welcome all who believe that religion is wider than any sect and deeper than any set of opinions.  We welcome all who find in these friendships strength and encouragement for daily living. Visitors are welcome.

On Sunday July 26, 2026at 10:00 a.m., Susan Trotter will lead this Open Reading Service on Zoom. You are invited to share readings,  thoughts and experiences on topics   of interest to UUs or related to the UU principles or the new UU Shared Beliefs and Values.  Open readings can be some of our most meaningful services, reflecting the diversity of our Fellowship.
