February 2025 Sunday Services

On Sunday February 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Nathan Blasdel will lead this in-person service,  “On the Pursuit of Happiness: a look at the science and philosophy behind everyone’s third unalienable right.”  Please join us after the service for coffee and conversation.

From Feb 2 to Feb 16 as part of the Souper Bowl of Caring, we are collecting non-perishable food items for the Angels on Assignment Food Pantry. Per Angels, the most needed items currently are: Mac & Cheese,  Peanut butter, and rice (small bags). Canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats such as tuna, chicken, as well as other non-perishable items are also welcome. No glass, please. Easily prepared foods are best. Cash donations are also accepted and help Angels purchase additional food items.  Thank you for participating in this annual event.

Sunday February 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. will will be our in-person  Souper Bowl of Caring service on the theme of generosity, led by Gail DeVilbiss, Theresa Rowe and Roberta Price. We will also highlight the new values and purpose statement that was voted during the 2024 General Assembly. Gail, Theresa, and Roberta would like to invite you to ‘snack time’ after service. Please consider bringing an appetizer or finger food for a casual lunch. Canned food collection continues, and cash donations are also welcome.

On Sunday February 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Roberta Price will lead this in-person Presdent’sDay Open Reading service for President’s Day. You are invited to bring poems, short articles, or music to share with the congregation.  Open readings can be some of our most meaningful services, reflecting the diversity of our Fellowship.    Please join us for coffee, snacks and conversation after the service. The Board Meeting follows the social hour.

On Sunday February 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Susan Trotter will lead this Open Reading Service on Zoom. You are invited to share readings,  thoughts and experiences on topics  of interest to UUs or related to the UU principles.  Open readings can be some of our most meaningful services, reflecting the diversity of our Fellowship.
