November 2023 Sunday Services

On Sunday November 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., Gail DeVilbiss will lead an in-person service about Día de Los Muertos. Gail will discuss the history and tradition of the Mexican holiday with stories and special readings. A display will be set up in honor of the day. People are invited to bring a photo or an item of memorabilia to honor their loved ones. Please join us downstairs after the service for coffee and conversation.

On  Sunday, November 12 at 10:00 a.m., Barbara Sehr will lead this in-person service. She will discuss her recently completed autobiography.  Please join us downstairs after the service for snacks, coffee and conversation.

On Sunday, November 19, at 10:00a.m., Glenn Moreton will lead this in-person service, “An Autumn Meditation,”  which follows the lessons of autumn. Autumn is a time of transition, a time of reflection, a time of letting go and making room for new growth. This service will explore possible routes that we may take as we yield to this process and move forward in our lives. Please join us downstairs following the service for coffee and conversation. The Board Meeting follows the Coffee Hour.

On Sunday, November 26, at 10:00 a.m., Yvonne Martin and Lynda Boyd will lead this service on Zoom on the topic of “Exploring After Death,” questioning if there is life after death. Visitors are welcome.
