March 2022 Sunday Services

In March we will continue with in-person services the first three weeks of the month, and the last Sunday on Zoom. Please wear a mask in-person and make use of the ample space for social distancing. We will remain upstairs for the social hour,  to facilitate social distancing.    The Board will continue to assess the in-person vs Zoom situation.

Visitors are welcome to join us, in person at 1600 Isabella, Mt Vernon, on the first three Sundays this month at 10 AM, and on Zoom on the last Sunday of the month, 10 AM. To request the Zoom login link, please email information@mtvernonuuf.org  You can dial in to Zoom on a voice phone (need not be a smart phone), or use the Zoom link for computer, tablet or smartphone. Please let us know if you’d like to be added to our monthly email list.

On Sunday, March 6, at 10:00 a.m., Roberta Price will lead this in-person Open Readings service on the topic of Women’s History Month. You are invited to bring  poetry, readings or music to share, on topics of your choice . In keeping with our caring principles, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. A social hour upstairs (where there is plenty of space) will follow the service.

On Sunday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m.,  we  are continuing to acknowledge March as  Women’s History Month with the theme “Remembering the Women in Our Lives.”  Diane Schwitz will lead an in-person service celebrating the women who influenced your life.  Share your story of a special woman who helped or inspired you along your journey.   And this week we set our clocks forward for daylight savings time.  A social hour upstairs will follow the service.

On Sunday, March 20, at 10:00a.m., Theresa Rowe will lead this in-person Open Readings on the theme of “The Vernal Equinox.”  Open Readings can be some of our most meaningful services, reflecting the diversity of our Fellowship. A social hour upstairs will follow the service. The Board Meeting will follow the social hour.

On Sunday, March 27, at 10:00 a.m.,  Donna Beaumont will lead this Open Reading service on Zoom on the theme of Balance. On the last Sunday of each month services will be held on Zoom. You are invited to bring  readings or music to share, on the topic of Balance or other topics that interest or inspire UUs. Open readings can be some of our most special services, as we learn of each others religious and spiritual paths.  Please email music links or files to lukesanfordcrawford@gmail.com . A virtual social hour will follow the service.
