October 2021 Sunday Services

October 2021 Sunday Services

IN OCTOBER our services will be held on Zoom.   You can access Zoom on computer, tablet or smartphone, OR  by voice phone (does not need to be a smart phone).  Visitors are welcome. To request the meeting number and link to join us on Zoom, please email information@mtvernonuuf.org.

On Sunday, October 3, at 10:00 a.m., Roberta Price  will lead our Open Readings service on Zoom. You are invited to bring  readings or music to share, on topics that interest or inspire UUs.  Please email music links or files to lukesanfordcrawford@gmail.com . Open Readings can be some of our most meaningful services, reflecting the diversity of our Fellowship. A virtual coffee hour will follow the service.

On Sunday, October 10, at 10:00 a.m., Mike DeVilbiss will lead this service.  A virtual coffee hour will follow the service.

On Sunday, October 17, at 10:30 a.m., as an exploration into the diversity of Unitarian Universalism, MTVUUF attendees are invited to virtually visit the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rock Valley’s Zoom service, led by  Rev. Marlene Walker.  Attending the Zoom service at UUC of Rock Valley at 10:30 (please note time difference) will be instead  of a MTVUUF zoom service this Sunday. If you are interested to attend virtually, please email Gail DeVilbiss that you would like a Zoom invitation, by Monday October 11 at vegaddict1@outlook.com . More details in the weekly Zoom email.

On Sunday, October 24, at 10:00 a.m., Gail DeVilbiss will lead our service, on the theme of Changing Seasons and Harvest. A virtual coffee hour will follow the service.  The Board Meeting will follow the coffee hour.

On Sunday, October 31, at 10:00 a.m., Donna Beaumont will lead this service on “UU Theology 101” on Zoom. (This is not an Open Readings week). A virtual coffee hour will follow the service.
