March 2025 Sunday Services

On March 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Gail DeVilbiss will lead this in-person service at the Mt. Vernon Unitarian Universalist Fellowship,   “Women in Religion: Context, Challenges, and Prospects.”  Gail will discuss aspects of women’s leadership role in religion in explore several faiths and include historical references. Please join us after the service for coffee and conversation.

Sunday March 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.  Nathan Blasdel will lead this in-person service.  MTVUUF is lay led, so every week is different.  Please join us downstairs after the service for coffee, snacks, and conversation.

On Sunday March 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Roberta Price will lead this in-person Open Reading service on the theme of Women/s History Month. You are invited to bring poems, short articles, or music to share with the congregation. Open readings can be some of our most meaningful services, reflecting the diversity of our Fellowship. Please join us for coffee, snacks and conversation after the service. The Board Meeting follows the social hour.

fire burning in bowlOn Sunday March 23,2025 at 10:00 a.m., Gail DeVilbiss will lead  this in-person Sunday Morning service. Join us as we explore the vernal equinox as a new beginning. DeVilbiss will lead a meditation by lighting the burning bowl during this service.       DeVilbiss will announce the 20th year anniversary of this Fellowship. On Sunday March 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Susan Trotter will lead this Open Reading Service on Zoom. You are invited to share readings, thoughts and experiences on topics of interest to UUs or related to the UU principles or  new UU Shared Beliefs and Values.
