May 2023 Sunday Services
On Sunday May 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., please join us in-person service with guest speaker Marty Mills on “Embracing the Hard Questions: Insight from My Spiritual Journey.” Please join us downstairs after the service for coffee and conversation.
On Sunday, May 14, at 10:00 a.m., please join us for an in-person Mother’s Day service led by Theresa Rowe/Mary Scharlemann. Please bring stories, advice, special memories from or about your mother or mother figure to share, if desired. Also help build our bulletin board with a photo, Mothers Day card, quote from mom or a mother figure to honor our mothers. Please join us downstairs after the service for snacks, coffee and conversation.
On Sunday, May 21, at 10:00a.m., Mike DeVilbiss will lead this Discussion Service. We will select a discussion topic at random from a collection of ethical issues, after which Mike will lead a discussion in which everyone is invited to participate.
The May 21 service will be followed by the annual Membership Meeting. After the service and meeting we invite everyone to the potluck luncheon held downstairs. Please bring a dish to share.
On Sunday, May 28, at 10:00 a.m., Susan Trotter will lead this Open Reading service on Zoom. You are invited to bring poetry, a reading, or music to share during the service, on themes of your choice. If you have music to share, please email music links or files to uufmtvsec@gmail.
